The private tour route includes several staircases to access the 2nd and 3rd floors, with limited seating available. We apologise, but as these areas have not yet been fully adapted for regular visits, they are more difficult to access. The main courtyard, however, is easily accessible on foot.

This summer, the Château de Hautefort is opening its doors to you as never before. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening, we invite you to step inside and discover areas that are usually off-limits to the public.

After this immersion to the top floors of our estate, we invite you to a gastronomic dinner in the main courtyard to admire the French gardens illuminated for you by candlelight.

To ensure a premium experience, the number of seats per evening is deliberately limited.

Self-guided tour of the castle

Your ticket gives you access to the castle from the morning. Take your time to explore the collections and soak up the atmosphere before the evening begins.

7 PM – Meet at the drawbridge

Private guided tour

Access areas usually closed to the public. An intimate exploration of the castle, in its most confidential corners, for an extraordinary hour and a half.

8:30 PM — Cour d’honneur

Dinner overlooking the illuminated gardens

The table is laid in the main courtyard, facing the illuminated south parterre. The restaurant Le Dix-Sept is providing the evening's menu.

Yes, your ticket grants you access to the château, French gardens, and English park all day from 9:30 am. You can enter and exit the château as you wish provided you keep your ticket with you.

The private tour lasts 1 hour 30 minutes.
