\u00e0 secrets : le bonheur-du-jour<\/h2>\n<p>Ce type de secr\u00e9taire est traditionnellement r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux dames, ses nombreux tiroirs et ses multiples recoins permettant d\u2019y cacher un grand nombre de papiers\u2026 y compris les billets doux et lettres galantes, qui sont donc pour ces dames leur \u201cbonheur du jour\u201d. Ce petit bureau, qui date du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle, est en jacaranda, un bois tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 en \u00e9b\u00e9nisterie aussi appel\u00e9 \u201cbois de violette\u201d, en raison de sa teinte violac\u00e9e qui brunit avec le temps.<\/p>\n<h2>La duchesse<\/h2>\n<p>Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une \u00e9l\u00e9gante chaise longue capitonn\u00e9e \u00e0 haut dossier en gondole comprenant des sculptures en fleurettes. Particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 la mode sous le Roi Louis XV, ce meuble d\u2019int\u00e9rieur \u00e9tait surtout utilis\u00e9 par les femmes comme lit de repos et de lecture.<\/p>\n<h2>Une technique particuli\u00e8re : la marqueterie<\/h2>\n<p>Le mobilier de cette chambre montre de tr\u00e8s beaux exemples d\u2019assemblages de bois, demandant une savante ma\u00eetrise des techniques de menuiserie et d\u2019\u00e9b\u00e9nisterie : c\u2019est ce qu\u2019on appelle de la marqueterie. Vous pouvez l\u2019observer sur les deux tables de chevet, la grande commode sous le tableau de Flore, et surtout le magnifique petit bureau du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle qu\u2019on appelle un bonheur-du-jour
